I want updates on:

Our Aims:

We want to build and support strong, active and inclusive communities across the Parish to encourage people to take an active part in making decisions, delivering and influencing services across the Parish.

Damian Cecil
Police Community Support Officer
Southwater

I have been working as a PCSO since January 2007. Prior to this I was driving around the country fixing machines for eight years. I joined the Police as a PCSO to work within my local community.

As part of the Neighbourhood Policing Team, I cover the Parish of Southwater, which includes Christs Hospital, Newfoundout and Tower Hill.

My main role is to be a contact point for local residents and members of the public. I enjoy the variety of work, helping out in the local community, and helping to make a difference in my area.

The Southwater Community Police Office is located on the ground floor of Beeson House, between the Parish Council Office and the Library, Lintot Square, Southwater. The office opened in 1996, and is manned by a team of dedicated volunteers, who were awarded the Queen`s Award for Voluntary Service in 2006. The office was the first of its type in the country.

The Southwater Community Police Office is open Monday to Friday between 0930-1230 and 1430-1700, for any reports of Crime or Anti-Social Behaviour.

The office can be contacted on 01403 734417.
