Please read job advertisements listed below, should you wish to apply complete the staff application form.   Please complete ALL sections in type or black ink and use only A4 size paper as continuation sheets as required. Page 8/9 will be detached from the rest of the application and will be held by the HR Department. Please note that CVs alone will not be considered.  The Council is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. 

Litter Warden (NJC Scale Point 6-13) 6 hours per week

This additional post is required to assist the existing team of three litter wardens for the Parish of Southwater.  You will be required to keep the designated areas clear of all litter, clear parish owned litter bins if required.  Ensure that collected litter be taken to the deignated bins (Leisure Centre) using equipment provided, replace black sacks in litter bins, clear ditches of litter and sweep areas within the designated areas.

Caretaker (NJC Scale Point 6-13) 5 hours per week

This new role wold suit someone who is prepared to work outside of the normal opening hours of the buildings being managed and can attend quickly in an emergency.
The position will involve closing Beeson House in the evenings after hires and businesses have finished for the day, when required.  The opening and closure of the Leisure Centre lower car park off Fairbank Road (each day).  Attendance will be required for call outs in relation to fire and security alarms for three buildings under the Council’s management for which training will be provided.  This will involve evening and weekend work.
