Arun Veterinary Group

‘UK Best Vets 2014’ Arun Veterinary Group

Arun Veterinary Group has been established for over 40 years and has existing practices located in Pulborough and Storrington, treating companion pets.  Matt Gittings and his team have developed a reputation as a caring and dedicated practice, providing a personal yet professional service within the community.  The practice’s popularity has grown significantly and it seemed only natural to expand their service to Ashington, a growing village with fantastic community spirit, yet without a dedicated veterinary practice to call its own!

One cat that will be pleased to hear about the practice’s imminent arrival will be young Milo Costin.  He was recently hit by a car on the A24 and sustained fractures to the bridge of his nose and tail, requiring lengthy hospitalisation and intensive care at the main surgery in Pulborough. His owners, Mr. and Mrs. Costin, were relieved to see him make a full recovery and are pleased to know the village will soon have its own dedicated veterinary surgery and an emergency service run by its own vets.

The new surgery will have a fresh and modern look.  It will be a fully functional practice with on site laboratory, kennels, theatre, x-ray and dental facilities.  It is easily accessible just off the A24 and has ample roadside parking. Matt firmly believes in providing continuity of care to clients and with this in mind there will be the opportunity to develop a relationship with one vet and the practice will be staffed by village based, qualified nurses and experienced receptionists.

Arun Veterinary Group are also delighted to announce they have been voted ‘Best UK Vets 2014’ which is an award presented to the British veterinary practice that has been given the most 4 or 5 star online reviews by their clients.  “Nothing is too much trouble”, “Fabulous vets” and “More like good friends” were just some of the comments received from their clients.  They recently celebrated this achievement with an awards presentation held at The Red Lion, Ashington.
