Have Your Say on West Sussex’s Draft Health and Wellbeing Strategy

Residents of West Sussex are being encouraged to take part in an online survey on the county’s draft Health and Wellbeing Strategy before it closes at 11:55pm on Sunday 27 April 2025.

Developed by the West Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board, the strategy outlines a plan to improve health, reduce inequalities, and support communities across the county. It focuses on five key priority areas:

  • Food and nutrition

  • School readiness

  • Mental health and wellbeing for young people transitioning to adulthood

  • Tobacco control

  • Health and wellbeing in temporary accommodation

The Board invites input from all residents, young people, professionals, and local organisations to help shape how these priorities are delivered.

The survey is available online, in an Easy Read format, and in paper form at local libraries. Feedback from the consultation will help finalise the strategy, due to be published in summer 2025.

To take part, please click here, or visit your local library, or contact publichealth@westsussex.gov.uk to find out more.
