Worthing Road Bridge works - UPDATE

Worthing Road Bridge, Southwater – Bridge works

West Sussex County Council needed to carry out works to repair the bridge on Worthing Road. The area under the Bridge will be open from this evening (31/01/2025)and it is safe again to use.

The works included the removal of loose concrete from the entire underside of the bridge. The newly exposed concrete area, including the steel beams, will be protected with new coatings.
